KTR Hints at Delimitation Bill in Telangana
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao on Friday stated that the Telangana government may introduce the delimitation bill during the Assembly session expected in July. According to KTR, he has received “credible information” suggesting that the state government is preparing to table the proposal aimed at increasing the number of Assembly constituencies in Telangana.
The statement has sparked political discussions in the state, especially as political parties begin preparing for the next Assembly elections. If implemented, the delimitation process could reshape constituency boundaries and alter the political landscape of Telangana.
