Telangana Receives Excess Rainfall in Southwest Monsoon
During the southwest monsoon season, Telangana has received an average rainfall of 407.3 mm, which is a 30 percent increase from the normal rainfall of 313.2 mm. Hyderabad recorded normal rainfall, with 282 mm against the expected 246.1 mm.
Highest Excess Rainfall Recorded in Charminar
In Hyderabad, Charminar mandal recorded the highest excess rainfall, receiving 333.9 mm against the normal 240.5 mm, a deviation of 39 percent.
