Telangana Government Transfers Revenue Officers

The Telangana government on Friday, May 22, issued transfer orders for 16 officers in the Revenue Department, involving officials of the ranks of Additional Collector, Special Grade Deputy Collector, and Deputy Collector.

The administrative reshuffle is aimed at strengthening governance and streamlining revenue operations across various districts in the state.

Hyderabad Gets New District Revenue Officer

As part of the latest transfers, Kanakam Swarna Latha has been appointed as the new District Revenue Officer (DRO) for Hyderabad.

The appointment comes as part of a broader administrative restructuring undertaken by the Telangana government.

Key Transfers Announced

Several important transfers were announced under the latest government order.

Gattu Sandhya Rani, who was serving as Additional Collector (Revenue) in Warangal, has been transferred and posted as Additional Collector (Revenue) for Nirmal.

In exchange, L Kishore Kumar, who was serving as Additional Collector (Revenue) in Nirmal, has been transferred to Warangal in the same capacity.

Meanwhile, D Nagarajamma, who was serving as Special Deputy Collector for Land Acquisition Unit-II in Siddipet, has now been appointed as the District Revenue Officer for Siddipet.

Similarly, R Dasarath, who was deputed to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, has been posted as District Revenue Officer for Nalgonda.

Malathi Samudrala, previously working as Special Deputy Collector for Land Acquisition (Industries) in Medchal-Malkajgiri, has been appointed as District Revenue Officer for Medchal-Malkajgiri.

Administrative Reshuffle Across Districts

The transfers are part of periodic administrative changes undertaken by the state government to improve efficiency in land administration, revenue management, and district-level governance.

Revenue officials play a critical role in handling land records, property registrations, public grievances, and government welfare-related administrative matters.

Officials are expected to assume charge at their new postings in the coming days.
