Hyderabad Teen Dies After horse Kick
On Sunday, July 21, Mohammed Ibrahim, a 17-year-old resident of Ghazimillat colony in Hyderabad, tragically succumbed to his injuries after being kicked in the stomach by a horse during a Muharram procession. Ibrahim, who was in his intermediate second-year at a private college, attended the Alam procession at Engine Bowli, Falaknuma, with friends on Thursday evening.
During the procession, a participating horse kicked Ibrahim in the stomach, causing him to fall to the ground. Initially experiencing severe stomach pain, Ibrahim was taken to a hospital. Despite doctors’ advice to transfer him to a better-equipped facility, his family chose to take him home. However, two days later, his condition worsened, leading to a visit to Osmania Hospital. There, doctors discovered severe liver damage, and despite their best efforts, Ibrahim passed away during treatment.
Following the incident, the police registered a case and have launched an investigation into the matter.
