Hyderabad: Three students found themselves trapped in a lift at the Uppal Skywalk in Hyderabad for nearly 45 minutes before being rescued by the police. The incident occurred when the lift unexpectedly malfunctioned, causing the students to panic.

Two months into the grand launch of the Uppal Loop skywalk, quite a few pedestrians continue to use the road at grade to cross.
Though the skywalk sees a lot of pedestrian users especially those who use the metro/bus stops nearby, thousands continue to sprint across the eight lanes of Uppal X roads to go across.
When triptohyderabad visited the site, most of the people who were crossing at grade were those wanting to head towards Ghatkesar or Ramanthapur directions.
