Rahat Fateh Ali Khan arrest rumors
Renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has dismissed rumors of his arrest in Dubai, which circulated following a defamation complaint by his former manager Salman Ahmed. The singer addressed these claims in a video posted on his official Instagram page, urging his fans not to believe such baseless rumors.
“I am in Dubai to record a few songs. I urge you not to believe such rumors… do not waste your time over them… keep supporting and uplifting your artist. You are my power after almighty Allah,” Rahat stated in the video.
Pakistani media house Geo TV had claimed that the singer was arrested based on a defamation complaint by Ahmed. However, Rahat’s lawyer has categorically denied these reports, calling them “absolutely incorrect.”
It is understood that Ahmed was fired by Rahat a few months earlier following a dispute. Sources indicate that both Rahat and Ahmed have filed cases against each other.
