Rajiv Aarogyasri new procedures
Hyderabad: The Telangana State government has approved the inclusion of 163 new procedures to the existing 1,672 packages under the Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Scheme (RAHS). This expansion is part of the scheme’s enhanced health assurance, which now offers coverage of Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh per family per annum. The government issued GOMs No. 32 last Tuesday to formalize these additions.
Additionally, the State government has revised the rates for 1,375 existing packages under RAHS. The rates for the remaining 297 procedures will remain unchanged. These updates will result in an additional expenditure of Rs. 487 crore for the State government, according to Health Minister D. Rajanarsimha.
