Trigyn Technologies to Establish AI Centre, Creating 1000 IT Jobs in Hyderabad

The Telangana government has successfully secured a major investment from Trigyn Technologies, an IT service management company. This agreement will lead to the establishment of an AI innovation and delivery centre in Hyderabad, creating job opportunities and offering training to at least 1000 aspiring IT professionals in the state. Trigyn Technologies plans to expand its existing team of 100 employees in Hyderabad, reinforcing its commitment to the region.

With a total revenue exceeding USD 160 million, Trigyn Technologies currently employs around 100 people in Hyderabad, part of its global workforce of over 2,500. In India alone, the company has around 1,000 employees. The new AI centre aims to further bolster the company’s capabilities, providing extensive training and job opportunities to young talent over the next three years.

The Telangana government highlighted the significance of this development, stating, “They’re already helping clients prepare for AI with Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilots. As a tech partner to the UN for over two decades, Trigyn’s leadership expressed strong confidence in Telangana and Hyderabad’s potential. Exciting times ahead!” This announcement was made through a post on X, reflecting the state’s enthusiasm for the upcoming projects.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and IT Minister Sridhar Babu are currently in the United States to attract further investments to Telangana. Their efforts have already borne fruit, as evidenced by this agreement with Trigyn Technologies and other significant investment commitments.

In a related development, Cognizant announced its plans to expand in Hyderabad. The company is set to establish a new facility covering a million square feet, which will create 15,000 new jobs. This expansion plan was initiated during the state government delegation’s visit to Davos earlier this year, led by the Chief Minister. The new centre in Hyderabad will have the capacity to accommodate 20,000 employees, further enhancing the city’s reputation as a burgeoning IT hub.

Additionally, Walsh Karra Holdings, a US-based investment firm, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with WE Hub, Telangana’s state-led nodal organisation for women’s entrepreneurship. This MoU guarantees an investment of five million dollars in WE Hub over the next five years, promoting and supporting women entrepreneurs in the state.

These developments underscore the Telangana government’s proactive approach to fostering growth in the IT sector and creating employment opportunities. The establishment of the AI innovation centre by Trigyn Technologies and the expansion plans of Cognizant are significant milestones in the state’s journey towards becoming a global IT hub. The government’s efforts to attract investments are set to create thousands of jobs, providing a substantial boost to the local economy and reinforcing Hyderabad’s position as a leading destination for tech companies.
