Brave Girl Escapes Kidnap Attempt
In a terrifying incident reported from Aghapura, Hyderabad, a 12-year-old girl narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt on Friday, August 9. The ordeal began when an unknown assailant broke into her residence, located on the third floor of a building, and forcibly abducted her in a car.
According to the girl’s father, she vividly described the harrowing experience. The kidnapper had covered her mouth to silence her and dragged her into a car near Hope Hospital. After driving to a secluded area, the abductor attempted to move her to the back seat. However, the courageous girl managed to escape by biting his hand and fleeing the scene.
This incident comes just days after another kidnapping case in Hyderabad, where a six-year-old girl was abducted but successfully rescued by the Abids police within 24 hours. The perpetrator, identified as Bilal, was apprehended in Immule Narva village in Rangareddy district.
In the earlier case, Priyanka, a housewife from Begum Bazar, Hyderabad, reported the disappearance of her niece, Pragathi. On the afternoon of Saturday, August 3, Priyanka had taken Pragathi to her mother’s house in Kattelmandi, Abids. Around 4:00 pm, Pragathi went out to play near the Muthyalamma temple with her four-year-old cousin, Vruthik. While Vruthik returned home shortly after, Pragathi was nowhere to be found, prompting the family to report her missing.
