Indian student dies in US

Hyderabad: Another Indian student has tragically died in the US after a three-month battle for life following an accident in Texas. Rohit Reddy, aged 26, from Mahabubabad, Telangana, succumbed to his injuries on July 24, 2024.

Indian Student Hospitalized Since Accident in US The accident, which occurred on April 13, left Rohit with severe injuries and multiple brain strokes. He was admitted to a hospital following the road mishap but unfortunately could not recover. His body is expected to reach his home in Gundrathimadugu village, Kuravi mandal, today or tomorrow, where the last rites will be performed by his family.

Another Telangana Student Hospitalized Recently, another student from Telangana, Mohammed Amir Ahmed, who is pursuing a master’s degree in the US, also met with a road accident and was hospitalized. On July 20, 2024, Amir was hit by a fast-moving car while crossing the road, resulting in multiple fractures. He is currently receiving treatment at the University of Chicago Hospital.

These incidents are part of a troubling trend, as many Indian students have become victims of road mishaps in the US over the past few months.
