Nupur Shikhare, Ira Khan’s Marriage
The recently wedded couple, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare, have shared a glimpse from their official wedding video, shedding light on Nupur’s decision to jog to the venue.
Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood icon Aamir Khan, exchanged vows with her longtime partner, fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare, in Mumbai on January 3. While the event’s images and videos garnered much attention, one standout moment featured Nupur jogging 8 km to the wedding venue, adorned in shorts and a gym vest.
In a clip from their official wedding video, Nupur explains the reasoning behind his unique entrance, stating, “From my house to Ira’s house, I used to run. I have a very special connection to this route. Emotional reason.”
The video showcases Nupur and his friends embarking on the run, offering a sneak peek at the meticulously arranged venue. Just before Ira’s grand entrance, where she captivates with her graceful appearance, Nupur joyfully runs into the garden, sharing a heartfelt moment with his father-in-law Aamir.
As the bride, Ira Khan, declares, “I take thee, Nupur Shikhare, as my lawful husband,” the crowd erupts in celebrations, with Aamir leading the applause and cheers.
