Extension of Popular Hyderabad Metro Offers
In response to high public demand, L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) has extended its popular metro travel offers until March 31, 2025. These offers provide value to commuters, making daily travel more affordable and convenient.
Super Saver Offer-59
One of the most popular offers is the Super Saver Offer-59. This offer allows passengers unlimited travel across Hyderabad Metro on designated holidays for just Rs 59. It has become a favorite among regular commuters who use the metro frequently, especially during the holidays when travel demand is high. By extending this offer, Hyderabad Metro aims to ease travel expenses for the public and encourage the use of metro services on special days.

Student Pass Offer
Another attractive offer extended by L&TMRHL is the Student Pass Offer. This initiative is aimed at students who rely on the Hyderabad Metro for daily travel. Under this offer, students can pay for 20 trips and receive an additional 10 trips free. This has been highly beneficial for students, allowing them to save on their transportation costs while traveling to schools, colleges, and other educational institutions. By offering this extended benefit, Hyderabad Metro reinforces its commitment to supporting the student community.
Super Saver Off-Peak Offer
The Super Saver Off-Peak Offer provides passengers with a 10% discount when traveling during off-peak hours using Contactless Smart Cards (CSCs). This offer encourages passengers to travel during less crowded times, helping to balance the flow of commuters throughout the day. With the extension of this offer, passengers can continue to save on their transportation costs while enjoying a more comfortable metro experience.
Introduction of Nominal Parking Fees
In addition to the extension of these offers, Hyderabad Metro will introduce nominal parking fees at two of its busiest stations, Nagole and Miyapur, starting from October 6. The parking facilities at these stations are designed to provide convenience and security to metro passengers. The new parking spaces will include dedicated areas for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, ensuring that passengers have ample parking options.
Amenities at Metro Parking Facilities
The parking areas at Nagole and Miyapur metro stations will feature bio-toilets, adequate lighting for evening hours, and 24/7 security with CCTV surveillance. These measures will ensure a safe and convenient parking experience for metro users. Additionally, an APP/QR-based payment system will be implemented, allowing passengers to pay for parking easily and efficiently. Clean drinking water will also be available at these stations, enhancing the overall passenger experience.
Designated Parking Spaces for Women, Senior Citizens, and Differently-Abled
To promote inclusivity, the Hyderabad Metro parking facilities will offer designated parking spaces for women, senior citizens, and differently-abled individuals. This ensures that passengers from all walks of life have access to safe and secure parking facilities, making the Hyderabad Metro a more accessible and convenient mode of transportation for all.

Expansion of Hyderabad Metro: Phase II Approval
In addition to the extension of these offers, the Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has approved the Phase II corridors of the Hyderabad Metro. These new metro lines include a connection to Hyderabad Airport and a line from Chandrayangutta to MGBS, which will serve the Old City. The new corridors will cover a total of 116.2 kilometers, further expanding the metro’s reach across the city. The airport line will pass through Aramghar, providing direct connectivity to one of the city’s busiest transportation hubs.
Impact of Metro Expansion on Properties and Structures
As part of the expansion, approximately 1,100 properties will be affected due to road widening for the metro alignment. Despite this, the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) authorities have emphasized that 103 religious, heritage, and other sensitive structures on the new routes will be preserved using appropriate engineering solutions. The metro pillar locations have been adjusted to ensure that these important structures remain intact.
Engineering Solutions to Preserve Heritage
The HMR Managing Director NVS Reddy assured that every effort is being made to save these heritage structures while ensuring the smooth development of the metro infrastructure. These measures reflect Hyderabad Metro’s dedication to preserving the city’s cultural and historical landmarks while moving forward with urban development.
