Telangana BJP’s ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra’ Set to Kick Off on Feb 20, Aims to Secure Victory in LS Polls
In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to launch its ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra’ across the state, announced by State BJP Chief and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy. The yatra, aimed at galvanizing electoral support, seeks to secure Narendra Modi’s third term as Prime Minister of India.
Hyderabad: The announcement of the bus tour, covering five regions in Telangana, was made by G Kishan Reddy, along with prominent leaders of the saffron party, including national BJP OBC Morcha chief K Laxman, former MP Jitender Reddy, BJP legislators Maheshwar Reddy and Dugyala Pradeep Kumar, and the state president of the party’s women’s wing, Shilpa Reddy.
The ‘Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra’ is scheduled to commence on February 20 and conclude on March 1, as confirmed by Kishan Reddy. Emphasizing its significance, he stated, “The yatra is part of the state BJP’s efforts to galvanize electoral support to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country for the third time.”
He further commented, “A favorable atmosphere is visible in all states, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, and among all sections of the public. A clear thought is emerging among the people of the country even before the notification of the election schedule.”
Outlined with meticulous planning, the yatra will cover all 17 Lok Sabha constituencies across Telangana. The segments of the yatra are as follows:
- Komaram Bheem Yatra covering Adilabad, Peddapalli, and Nizamabad constituencies
- Shatavahana Yatra covering Karimnagar, Medak, Zaheerabad, and Chevella constituencies
- Kakatiya Yatra covering Khammam, Warangal, and Mahabubabad constituencies
- Bhagyanagara Yatra covering Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Malkajigiri constituencies
- Krishnamma Yatra covering Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, and Nalgonda constituencies
Kishan Reddy highlighted that the routes of all five segments of the yatra are strategically designed to culminate in Hyderabad, reiterating the BJP’s ambitious target to secure victory in all 17 constituencies, including Hyderabad, which is considered the stronghold of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi.
