According to official data, the first-year supplementary examinations recorded a pass percentage of 68.84%.
A total of 2,67,331 students appeared for the first-year exams, out of which 1,84,042 students successfully passed.
Among them, 2,50,421 students from the general stream appeared for the examination, and 1,72,056 cleared the exams, registering an approximate 69 percent pass rate, according to reports.
The supplementary exams provided students another opportunity to improve their performance after not clearing one or more subjects in the regular board examinations.
Second Year Pass Percentage Below 50%
The results for second-year students showed a comparatively lower success rate.
A total of 1,31,128 students appeared for the second-year supplementary examinations, out of which only 64,639 students passed, recording a 49.29 percent pass percentage.
The lower pass percentage highlights the challenges faced by students attempting to clear final intermediate examinations through supplementary tests.
General And Vocational Stream Results Announced
The Telangana Board declared results for both general and vocational streams simultaneously.
Students are advised to carefully verify their marks memo and contact their respective colleges or board authorities in case of discrepancies.
Those who still fail to clear the examinations may have to reappear in future attempts as per board guidelines.
