Hyderabad: The Telangana State Education Department has announced a change in school timings across the state. According to the new schedule, government high schools will now operate from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., a shift from the previous hours of 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. This adjustment is intended to better align with educational needs and logistical considerations.
Education Department officials have clarified that primary and upper primary schools will continue their usual schedule, operating from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
The new timings are applicable to schools across various districts in Telangana, except for the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. In these cities, schools will maintain their existing schedule, operating from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
