
4 Arrested for Selling Ganja, 2.5 kg Seized
Hyderabad: The Mangalhat police on Sunday arrested three drug peddlers in the city who were caught selling ganja. The police recovered 2.5 kilograms of the contraband from them. The arrested individuals have been identified as Amith Singh (34), a resident of Dhoolpet; Syed Huzaif alias Azhar (24), a resident of Banjara Hills; and Mohammed Adil (23), a resident of First Lancer. Additionally, a consumer named Sohail, from Khairatabad, was also detained but released after the police issued him a notice.
According to the Mangalhat police, the Telangana Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) and local police collaborated to set a trap, catching Azhar, Amith, Sohail, and Adil in possession of ganja. Azhar and Adil had purchased the ganja from Amith, who had sourced it from another seller named Laddu Singh of Dhoolpet. Sohail was a regular buyer of marijuana from Azhar and Adil. The police are currently gathering more details about other consumers connected with Adil and Azhar.
